Whilst chatting to my new friend, over at Muzoogle.com, he mentioned a new site he thought I would like to share with you. I checked it out and he was right.
It is called Rock Links and is owned and operated by a Craig Jones, who, in 2008, won the Gosport Innovation and Entrepreneurial Business award.
Rock Links is an impressive site with a vast amount of useful information for the unsigned band/artist. I am neither of these things but found myself spending a long time reading the various information available. It is an easy site to use and well created. There are no annoying pop-ups or busy pages. It functions perfectly, with all links going where they say they will.
A useful read for any unsigned band is Music Endorsements and Forming Bands. I am big on writing in plain English, as if you were chatting to a friend. Well, Craig also follows this style and he is very easy to read and follow. Check it out for yourself.
Whether you are l0oking for music competitions, tips and advice, band promotion, magazines or opportunities etc. it is all at Rock Links.
Rock Links also offers a great website creation service for bands at just £7.50 per month (roughly US$11.80/€8.55). What I like about this is the personal touch they offer and how they will build the site to your specifications.
Rock Links is very much a growing site that will continue to expand as more and more people add to it.
If you are an unsigned band then Rock Links is a page you should visit and have bookmarked for future reference. Go check it out for yourself. If you are someone from the music industry or you sell music products then Rock Links also has a directory page where you can add your link.
